Knights Inn Galax

Older motel, but the location was away from major roads and very quiet. Room was large, with good internet, large screen TV, microwave and refrigerator. I had booked two nights to bike the New River Trail, but when I went to the trailhead a few blocks away, the trail was closed for repairs from recent flood damage, and the manager spent 30 min on the phone with booking.com getting my 2nd night refunded when I could find no way on the app to do this myself.

Clean and everything I needed for a basic stay

It's nice and clean, the location very central. The price is unbeatable
